Hayward Fire Dept. is run by a total of 13 Volunteer
Firefighters and 6 First Responders. 3 of the First Responders
are also Firefighters. Our Firefighters and First Responders
attend continous yearly training. We are always looking for more
volunteers. Our Fire Dept. holds a annual mud bog during Hayward
Days.
Hayward City Council meetings are held at Hayward Hall the
second Monday of the Month at 7pm. The Hall is also used annually
each spring by the Clarks Grove Vet Clinic for their area
vaccination and heartworm clinics. They provide their services at
reduced fees for the benefit of their clients.
